WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT

Since becoming involved in our children's preschool activities, we have uncovered a HUGE depth of talent, skills and professional expertise among other mums.

On a personal level, our (happily made) choice to be there for our children during these vitally important early childhood years has meant that our careers have had to take more of a back seat.

In talking with other mums, we have discovered there are so many of us out there who are missing our former lives in the workforce, and more importantly have lost valuable business networks and contacts.

We thought how wonderful it would be to tap into this ready-made network of local mums, thereby reconnecting each other to the workforce - but on our own terms!

Mums' World is proposing a network of mothers who have special skills or talents. In this way, we can support each other in earning a little money.

OBJECTIVES

• To provide mothers with work in any capacity: casual, part-time, contract or full-time.
• Mums' World will be a community-oriented channel for mothers wanting to return to the workforce.
• To help each other out in keeping mothers in the workforce.
• Mums' World aims to harness the many skills of mothers, thereby generating work for its subscribers
• Mums' World will regularly feature a Subscriber Profile called 'Mother of the Moment', providing further opportunities for you to promote your skills.
